Honor 7C, 7A launched in India; Prices starting from Rs 9,000 onwards
New Delhi: Honor, sub-brand of Huawei, launched two new budget smartphones in India. The new smartphones are in the Honor 7 series – Honor 7C, 7A. Honor 7A will be available exclusively on Flipkart at the price of Rs. 8,999 while Honor 7C will be available exclusively on Amazon at the price of Rs. 9,999.
Despite being the budget phones, the new Honor 7 – both Honor 7C, 7A – series phones come with the high-end features like face unlock and dual cameras. Apart from this, the phones which were launched in China earlier this year also come with special ‘Made for India’ features which include ‘Ride Mode’ which is similar to the Samsung’s S bike mode, a Paytm fingerprint single touch access, and 2 dedicated slots for SIM cards and one slot for the memory card.
Both the devices will run EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Honor 7C will be available in two memory variants – 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB which is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB with 5.99 inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. It comes with a powerful octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and has a 3000mAh battery.
The device sports dual rear camera setup (13MP+2MP) with phase detection auto-focus and LED flash while the front has an 8MP selfie shooter with an LED flash for low-light selfies. The cameras are equipped with Bokeh and Beauty modes. The company has also tried to enhance the audio effect by providing 3D sound effects in phones. The newly launched devices also come with ‘Party Mode’ feature which will help you in connecting several phones to a single output.
Honor 7A also is a dual-SIM phone with 5.7 inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. The processor of 7A runs on octa core Snapdragon 430 processor and comes with 2/3GB RAM, 32GB storage and a 3000mAh battery.
This device also sports dual rear camera setup (13MP+2MP) with f2.2 aperture and LED flash. The front camera is also 8MP shooter with f2.0 aperture and has an assistive LED flash. The 32GB internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB and it also sports face-unlock as well as fingerprint sensor, on the rear panel, technology.
As a special launch offer, Reliance Jio is giving a cashback of Rs2200 and 50GB additional free data for 7A and 100GB fir 7C.
