Nitin Gadkari flagged off India’s first “Hospital Wagon”

New Delhi: Keeping in mind the increasing number of road accidents, Wagon Cab has taken the initiative to launch India’s very first taxi Ambulance services with medically trained drivers on the roads of Delhi. With the support of Minister Nitin Gadkari, a constructive step is being taken by the company towards better public health, security and transit services.

For the Initial phase Wagon Cab  is launching 200 cabs which will act as Ambulance along with the drivers who have been trained by a medical professional to Handel critical situations and who possess the in-depth knowledge of First –Aid.

All the Drivers have been medically trained in to handle an Emergency situation by Doctors and the cab is well equipped to Handel many situations in case of any road Accidents. The cab Drivers will also be benefitted with extra cash of 500 INR along with different certifications and awards on completion of the task.

This initiative has been widely supported by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India.  Minister for Transport, Nitin Gadkari has appreciated this Bold Move and out of the box-thinking of Wagon Cab, to make the society better and our Roads Much safer for the people.

Das Foundation, an NGO working for social upliftment has taken the liberty to support Wagon cab with trained manpower and to aid them with different ideas and expertise so that they can function well in the market.

‘’I firmly believe that this particular initiative will really help out those in Need at Time. Most of the Drivers spend their Maximum time on the Roads, they are real Ambassadors of Road Safety, and with their help, a lot can be achieved.” Said Yogita Bhayana, founder Das Foundation.

The Wagon Cab has taken this noble initiative for the public welfare and effortlessly trying to achieve something which has never been attempted in India. Starting from Delhi NCR they planning to launch this initiative across pan India.

The aim is to help the maximum number of people and making this step successful in the upcoming years with the help and support of the Public and Our Drivers. We are also planning to launch this initiative to other cities as well,” said Uttam Bose the CEO & Co-Founder Wagon Cab.
