In the last few months, popular actor Amitabh Bachchan lent his voice to create awareness on the COVID-19 prevention measures. But now according to the media reports, the new female voice will inform the people about the vaccination drive from 16 January 2021.

In the last few months, popular actor Amitabh Bachchan lent his voice to create awareness on the COVID-19 prevention measures. But now, there is news that a new one is replacing his voice. Thousand people signed a petition to get rid of the caller tune, and now you’ll no longer listen to his voice. But who is replacing his voice? Find out here!

The caller tune was a great initiative by the government to spread awareness. It disseminates the facts about the disease and ways to prevent it.

According to the media reports, the new female voice will inform the people about the vaccination drive from 16 January 2021. The female voice will convey the message insisting on having faith in the Indian vaccines. The voice appeals to the people to take COVID-19 preventive measures.

The vaccination drive has started using Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new slogan, ” Dawaai Bhi, Ladaai Bhi.” (Medicinal cure and preventive measures for COVID-19).

The vaccination drive, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is the largest drive ever done globally. We will see inoculation of the healthcare and different frontline employees who have been treating and assisting the people affected by COVID-19. We are expecting 30 million such workers to be vaccinated in the first phase of the drive.

Earlier this month, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed within the Delhi High Court gave the Centre directions to get rid of Amitabh Bachchan’s voice from the caller tune. The hearing will take place on the 18 January 2021.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), on 14 January 2021, released details regarding the COVID-19 vaccination drive, which is scheduled to start on 16 January 2021.
