CBSE Released Class 10, Class 12 date sheets, exams to begin from May 4
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the start and end dates of the board exams 2021. The CBSE board examination will be conducted from May 4 by keeping in mind all the COVID-19 guidelines.
The date sheets for CBSE board class 10 and class 12 were released on February 2, Tuesday by education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. The CBSE board examination will be conducted from May 4 by keeping in mind all the COVID-19 guidelines.
Last year the exam schedule was made for full 45 days. However, this year the exam schedule is for 39 days. CBSE has reduced six days to conduct the board exams in 2021 by giving students enough time to prepare two main exams.
Usually, the CBSE board exams were conducted in March every year. This year the education department decided to delay it because of the pandemic. In December, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the start and end dates of the board exams 2021.
Highlights on CBSE board exams:
- Sufficient time is given between two main subjects so that students can prepare adequately.
- The exams for class 12 students are being held in 2 shifts to reduce the pressure on students’ exams. The second shift includes all those exams that CBSE schools do not conduct present abroad.
- The staff that will work in the morning shift will not get any work in the afternoon shift.
- For the students of class 10, the schedule is for 75 exams, whereas, for class 12 students, the date sheet is for 111 exams.
- Every CBSE centre will strictly follow all the COVID-19 guidelines while managing the exams.
- CBSE reduced 30 % syllabus for board exams this year.
- CBSE has also released the board exam 2021 sample papers according to the deducted syllabus.
