New Delhi: The buildings and factories business of L&T Construction, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged orders worth Rs. 4,033 crores. This was stated by the company in a BSE filing on Tuesday.
The company further stated in the filing that a government client has given the order for designing and construction of 1,125 residential towers of G+3 floors in Visakhapatnam, Prakasam, Guntur and Krishna districts in Andhra Pradesh.
A cement manufacturer has also given order to L&T Construction for constructing cement plants in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on design and build model. The company also told that it has been won another turnkey order in Patna, Bihar from a government client to establish a cancer institute along with the supply, installation and commissioning of medical equipment.
The shares of the company were trading at Rs. 1,331 apiece which were up by almost 1.3 per cent on BSE at around 12:30 PM on Tuesday.
