Hyundai Creta Facelift Launched in India; cosmetic updates in SUV while mechanical specs remain same
New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motors Corp, launched the facelift version of Creta in India on Monday. The new version comes at the starting price of Rs. 9.43 lakhs. While the company has made some cosmetic updates, the mechanical specifications remain the same in the SUV. With the facelift version, the SUV is sought to give competition to Renault Duster, Tata Hexa and Jeep Compass.
In the facelift model of Creta comes with the new front bumpers with a large hexagonal chrome-lined grille and a new rear bumper. The headlamps and tail lamps are also new with 17” wheels and a bright orange paintjob.
The new range of SUV will offer dual-tone color options as also dual airbags and ABS as standard across all variants. The new color range will be Passion Orange and Marina Blue, while the dual tone option with black roof will be in Polar White and Passion Orange colors. Apart from this, cruise control, wireless charging, electric sunroof, 6-way electronically adjustable driver’s seat and a wearable smart key band are some of the new features added in the new facelift version. The matching upholstery with the dual-tone layout as well as 7-inch infotainment system supporting AUX, USB, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity also come in the new version. The new 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift SUV will continue the 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre petrol and diesel units.

The starting price of the 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift is Rs. 9.43 lakhs while Creta Diesel AT prices ranges from Rs. 13.20 lakh to Rs. 14.84 lakhs and the top-spec Creta Diesel MT is priced at Rs 15.04 lakh.
