EuroKids Opens its 1000th Pre-School, Aims to Triple its Network in 5 Years

Mumbai: By opening one more Pre-School in Thane, EuroKids International achieved a major feat as this school in Thane is the 1000th Pre-School of the chain. Currently, EuroKids International is present in three countries and over 350 towns and cities. It now plans to triple the number in the next five years.

Prajodh Rajan, Co-founder and Group CEO, EuroKids International said, “We are experiencing stupendous growth and the 1000th pre-school represents a major milestone that commemorates our expertise of over 17 years in early childhood education. It is only the efforts of our content & academic team has put in which is evident as the 1000th pre-school. The dedication they have shown in the past towards understanding young children and their learning needs has helped us grown. The progress of EuroKids is defined by these efforts only and these efforts are the only reason to keep us on the top—preferred pre-schools in India.”

Notably, EuroKids International added more than 250 Pre-School in its portfolio as it was gaining a lot of popularity and also because of increasing demand for pre-school education in India.

Shedding light on the company’s future growth plans, Prajodh Rajan said, “As of now, most of our pre-schools, precisely 60 per cent, are in non-metro cities. We believe that there is great untapped potential in the tier-II and III cities. So, now our focus area will be the Tier II and III cities.”

It is not only that EuroKids have opened the Pre-Schools but they have given a push to the entrepreneurship especially Women Entrepreneurship. It has enabled more than 1000 entrepreneurs out of which around 80 per cent are women. EuroKids provides 360-degree support so as to help the entrepreneurs to build the franchise business. In the process, they give a training methodology which is combined with NextGen advantages and hence better results are derived. Apart from providing training and support, the Pre-School chain also provides financial assistance in association with leading institutions to set up a franchise in tier II and III cities.

The Pre-School chain has been focused on enhancing teaching methodology and keeps the track of professional needs of the teachers so that they are addressed timely. This helps them in delivering the curriculum effectively. To ensure that all the teachers conform to uniform standards and to upgrade their skills on regular basis, EuroKids have introduced ETAT (EuroKids Teacher Assessment Tool).

The curriculum of EuroKids has been developed on the basis of research findings by ‘Center on the Developing Child’ at Harvard University. Five-point safety programs are followed by EuroKids in all their schools. The five-point safety program includes the provision of CCTV cameras and GPS, child safe furniture and interiors, safe school certification, qualified female staff and first aid & emergency services.
