TikTok Launches New Small Business Resource Center for Digital Marketers
TikTok has come with tools on the app that can help small businesses grow. This will be done through the new subsidiary platform for TikTok that was launched earlier this year.
As TikTok grows more and more popular amongst everyone and expands its user base, it has recently launched a new small business resources centre. It means that TikTok has come with tools on the app that can help small businesses grow. This will be done through the new subsidiary platform for TikTok that was launched earlier this year. The new platform is called TikTok for business and helps people advertise through the platform’s various tools.
The platform includes on-top ads that are ads that show on the top of the screen while a video is running, in-feed ads that can be videos themselves, and hashtag challenges. Another robust tool is also a Brand Takeover in which the TikTok official account itself advertises for the brand.
The brand takeovers can be either pictures or videos that run for a couple of seconds, while the in-feed advertisements can run up to 60 seconds. Hashtag challenges are another fun way to advertise a product by interacting with the app users and encouraging them to create content around a specific hashtag.
Although most of the tools above were already present in the app before the new platform launched, now TikTok has brought it under one term and page to create a one-stop destination for advertisers.
The internet and social media have always been tools with dual functions; while the users create and consume information/content simultaneously, it has also mostly been very successful for advertising. Ads are now more focused and targeted than ever before. The same is true for Tiktok as well. Since its advent, it has been a tool for both users and advertisers.
