Vivo Y83 Launched in India; Priced at Rs. 14,990
New Delhi: Vivo has launched its Y83 smartphone in India. The smartphone will be available in black and gold variants across offline and online stores now. In online stores, the phone will available on Flipkart, Amazon and Vivo’s own online shopping channel.
The smartphone comes with 6.22 inch 19:9 “FullView” display and is prices at Rs. 14,990 in India. The company is also offering exchange offers and no-cost EMIs on Vivo Y83.
The latest dual-SIM offering by the Chinese smartphone makers runs on FunTouch OS 4.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. The budget smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and backed by 4GB RAM and 32GB storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB. The phone comes with battery of 3260mAH under the hood and the phone weighs only 151 grams.
The highlight of the smartphone is its 19:9 display and 13MP high-definition rear camera with PDAF technology. It also comes with an 8MP selfie camera. The 8MP selfie camera comes with Face Access and Vivo’s moniker for face recognition. As the smartphones of Vivo are known for sporting one of the best camera quality and better camera feature the latest offering is also equipped with AI Face beauty, portrait mode, live photo and group selfie.
Another exclusive feature in the phone given by the Chinese smartphone maker is the split screen feature, Smart split 3.0. In this feature the user can split the screen in two by sliding down three fingers.
The other features with which the budget smartphone is equipped with are Face Access 2.0, Game Mode 2.0, app clone and eye protection mode. Fingerprint sensor is also given at the rear side.
Notably, the company launched Vivo Y83 in a 64GB inbuilt storage model in China last week.
